Deposit Funds to Your USCard
Deposits can be made online with a credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). You may also add funds to your card in person at one of our customer service centers. Faculty and staff may set up their cards for payroll deductions for use at all locations where USCard is accepted.
Discretionary Funds
Funds deposited to your USCard account are discretionary funds — a prepaid declining balance (separate from dining dollars) accepted anywhere on campus and select USC Village locations.
Discretionary funds allow you to:
- Make faster, safer and more convenient purchases
- Roll over your balance to the next term
Refunds
Discretionary deposits are not refundable until you graduate or withdraw from the university. Any remaining balance will be credited to your student account.
If you are:
- Graduating, you will automatically receive a refund through your student account.
- Withdrawing from the university, please email USCard@usc.edu to request a refund of any remaining discretionary funds.
